1- WW2 allowed conscientious objectors which meant not all the men had to fight. They needed more soldiers so women were allowed to join the military. During WW1 the women left behind did the jobs traditionally made for men, which proved that they had the ability to do jobs men did, so they were allowed to fight in WW2.
