Homeostasis is a mechanism through which body maintain its state of stability/equilibrium. Thermoregulation is one of the mechanism of homeostasis by which body maintain its internal temperature. The average human body temperature is 98°F (37°C). When the external temperature increases, the body sweats or vassolidate to maintain the stable temperature.
When the external temperature decreases, the body undergo vasoconstriction or thermogenesis to main its average temperature.
