I think it’s D because the has a quote, plus it says “deal with death as something that is a must, something that is going to happen anyway. Even if you don’t die this way, you can die normally, naturally.” The passage doesn’t exactly show an instance or an explanation, it just says, if you wanna keep on living face your fears. It also doesn’t really say what happens due to exposure of extreme violence and fear of dying. I hope my explanation makes sense and I hope that D is the right answer. And I didn’t just waist your time.
Answer:
Letter A is the correct answer.
Explanation:
In this excerpt, the author appeals to the reader's fear when he contrasts two situations: the first one, when he says that the reader could lock himself in his house (this place is understood as a safe location, where nothing can happen); the second one, forget about those fears and deal with death, which is, finally, the expected result. Letter B is incorrect because there are no expert opinions in this excerpt and the author doesn't mention why things happen as they do; Letter C is incorrect because the paragraph doesn't show any results of extreme violence or the fear of dying. The last option, D, is incorrect because even the author talks about death (the inevitable) and how the reader shouldn't be afraid of it, he doesn't provide any quotations.
