Such types of medicines are involved with the consolidation of data in the physical, behavioral, affective, and social sciences correlated to wellness and disease. These medicines incorporate epidemiology, biology, pharmacology, nourishment, endocrinology, and immunology. The name is generally applied correspondently, but inaccurately, with fitness psychology. The application of behavioral medicine consolidates health psychology but also includes applied psycho-physiological treatments such as biofeedback, numbness, of environmental disorders, aspects of occupational therapy, rehabilitation medicine, and physiatry, as well as preventive medicine.
