wide = 8.5 m

Length = 4.5 * 8.5 = 38.25 m

Pythagorean theorem:

(diagonal)² =  (38.25)² + ( 8.5)²

                    = 1463.0625 + 325.125

(diagonal)²   = 1788.1875

diagonal       = √1788.1875   = 42.29 m

distance traveled  = 6 * 42.29

                              = 253.74 m
