Describe each process by answering the bullet points below

Cellular Respiration:

- Identify the organelle where this process occurs

- Identify the two raw materials (or reactants) necessary for this process

- Identify one energy-rich molecule that is produced by this process

- State how organisms use this energy-rich molecule that is produced

- State how a gas produced by this process is recycled by nature

Answer:

Explanation:

Cellular Respiration:

a)its is the set of all the metabolic reactions which takes place in the cells to convert energy from nutrients in to ATP and  waste products are released.

Cellular respiration starts in the cytoplasm and continues in mitochondria  which is the main organelle where most of the process takes place.

b) oxygen are glucose are 2 raw material  needed for cellular respiration

c) ATP energy rich molecules are formed during cellular respiration

d)  ATP molecules are used to store energy to be used for future metabolic reactions.  ATP captures chemical energy to use it to fuel other reactions. ATP is able to give energy to  cellular processes by transferring a phosphate group to another molecule in a process called phosphorylation). This transfer is carried out by special enzymes that couple the release of energy from ATP to cellular activities that require energy.

e)

during cellular respiration, carbon dioxide is released in to the atmosphere as a by product which is used by plants in the process of photosynthesis to release oxygen and other products. this oxygen is again used in the process of cellular respiration.
