Some authors claim that ethics in human research is different from ethics in clinical practice. The doctor's obligations to his patient would be different from those of the researcher to the research subject. However, it should not be forgotten that the researcher is the patient's doctor (research subject) most of the time and, as such, must protect the subject as a patient.
