Dear Friend,

Hello! You missed some important formulas over a few days which are the Slope formula and the Slope - intercept form. Let's start off with the slope formula. Basically, the formula is y of one, over x of one minus y of 2 over x of 2. For example it would look something like this for these two points

ex :

(3,4) (1,2)

3 = x of one

4 = y of one

1 = x of two

2 = y of two

So...

[tex]\frac{4}{3} - \frac{2}{1}[/tex]

Now,  we just subtract across, and we get 2/2.  That means the slope is one.

Let's move on to slope intercept form. This form is basically

y = mx + b.

The m is the slope, the b is the y intercept.

In the example of Y = 3x + 8,

The slope is 3, and the y intercept is (0,8)

This took a long time to write, hoped this works for you :)
