He titled his application for the colony to be: "A Discourse concerning the design'd establishment of a New Colony to the South of Carolina, in the most delightful country of the Universe. By Sir Robert Mountgomry, Baronet."
The colony didn't come to fruition until 17 years later when James Oglethorpe founded the colony of Georgia to help the poor of England with a new start at life.
