Jose creates an experiment to find the answer to his question. He asks everyone in his biology class whether they like chocolate or vanilla ice cream better. Out of 25 students, he observes that 17 students prefer chocolate ice cream and 8 students prefer vanilla ice cream. From this data, Jose concludes that more people prefer chocolate ice cream to vanilla ice cream.

Do you believe that Jose has enough evidence to support his claim, or are you skeptical of his results? Explain what Jose could do to increase the credibility of his claim.

Respuesta :

He has enough evidence to say that in his class, more people prefer chocolate ice cream. This however, is not accurate when applied to larger groups such as his the population of his school, or even his grade. He would have to ask many more people aside from those in his class to get more accurate data. The more people he asks, the more accurate he would be.
