A type of character who remains similar throughout the whole storyline is called as the static character. These characters might have different environment but their nature and the perception is still the same what they have at the starting of the story. This is identical for rest of the characters also.
Therefore, there is a conflict in the story or not, the character always be similar and unchanged.
