progress in the U.S. can be seen through varying movements such as Black Lives Matter and the Me Too movement. the BLM movement was created to bring attention to the heavy police brutality that unarmed people of color have been subjected to for years and has protested to find solutions to this problem. the Me Too movement was created to bring attention to sexual assault survivors and to the seriousness of sexual assault. It allows people to see what a problem it is in today’s society. These are a couple of areas that people in the US want to “progress” today.
