To continue in the tradition of American poetry, what types of language should your poem include?

I think it's B but I've read a bunch of Robert Frost and modern American poets who want to cut through the fluff and create vivid pictures too. Seems unlikely that the test answer would throw so much shade as to call American poetry "vague and abstract."
