You have 1200 pencils and you order more when your down to 500
So take 1200 - 500 to find how many pencils will be sold before you reorder. 1200 - 500 = 700
Then you take 700 / 24 to find how many days until you reorder. 700 / 24 = 29.1666666666666... You have round up because on day 29 you will have 504 pencils left
