THIS QUESTION IS IMPORTANT! PLEASE HELP IF YOU'RE GOOD WITH EXPONENTIALS!
A population of fleas doubles every 10 days. Your dog brings in 10 fleas after a romp in the yard. How many fleas will the dog have after 30 days? 60 days? Use the function y= 10* 2 ^x (10 times 2 to the x power) where x is the number of times the population of fleas doubles.

Respuesta :

number of times it doubles=(time elapsed)/(doubling time)

eimt elapsed=30, so number of times is 30/10 or 3
othe rone is 60 days so 60/10=6

30 days
y=10(2)^3=80 fleas

60 days
y=10(2)^6=640 fleas

30 days would be 80 I believe
10*2=20
20*2=40
40*2=80

give me a sec for 60
do you know how to put it into the function?
