Suppose 60% of kids who visit a doctor have a fever, and 30% of kids with a fever have sore throats. What's the probability that a kid who goes to the doctor has a fever and a sore throat?

Respuesta :

I would assume that we have 100 kids to do this problem.

So then 60 out of 10 kids would have fevers.

Then 30% of 60 kids, or 18, would have sore throats.

So the answer would be 18%.

Hope this helps!
