Jonas is going to have a square cake for his birthday the cake will be made with two layers that measure 12 inches by 12 inches by 1.5 inches how much icing will be needed to cover the cake including putting ice in between the layers

volume=length times width times height


2 layers so
2 times 12 times 12 times 1.5=432 cubic inches of icing
