the heritage day exist to celebrate the cultural differences that exist within the people of South Africa.
This day is very important because it conveys that even though south African citizens came from different backgrounds, they can still stand and unite as one.
Heritage Day is a South African public holiday celebrated on 24 September. Before 1995, 24 September Heritage Day was known as Shaka Day, in commemoration of the Zulu KingShaka. Today, South Africans commemorate Heritage Day by reminiscing the cultural heritage of various cultures that composes the population of South Africa.
