What was the number of children and the number of adults who took the train ride that day, and which pair of equations can be solved to find the numbers? (1 point)

5a+c=65, using a from above makes this become:

5(17-c)+c=65

85-5c+c=65

85-4c=65

-4c=-20

c=5, and since a=17-c

a=12

So there were 5 children and 12 adults...
