Dear Diary (or whatever entry sentence you want),
Today I went to (random friend's name here, I'll say like John) John's farm! The weather was great to just walk around and enjoy the scenery.
He has dozens of fruit trees, and many kinds as well. Apple trees, orange trees, cherry trees, lemon trees, and more types even. Some of the fruit aren't in season yet, but we were able to pick some apples and eat them as we were walking around. They were delicious, freshly grown and picked.
Dinner was amazing, we had some apple pie, with apples from his farm. It was excellent, and the chicken he also made was delicious as well.
When it was time to leave, I almost didn't want to leave, yet I had to. Of course I'll return to his farm more and more.
