Auditory hallucinations
Auditory hallucinations occur when one perceives sound without sound stimuli. Psychotic disorders, schizophrenia, are sometimes the reason for auditory hallucination.
Complex auditory hallucination, notably, involves the perception of talking voices or music coming externally from their bodies. On the other hand, in dissociative disorder, the perception of sound is perceived from within the head.
