R.I.C.E. is the treatment plan for muscle strains and sprains. It generates immediate relief to the injured area of an individual.
R - stands for Rest, a particular injury that happened should be rested and not used for any strenuous activities to lessen its gravity.
I - stands for Ice, applying ice to the particular injured area stimulate blood vessels to constrict then dilate causing blood to flow and heal the injured part faster.
C- stands for compression, compressing the area with an elastic bandage inhibits blood pooling in the injured tissues causing it to heal.
E - stand for elevation, by letting gravity to the work the blood flows back to the heart at a quicker pace which then induces healing of the injury.
