D. is the correct answer.
De-oxygenated blood comes through the vena cava of the heart. It goes through the right atrium and ventricle, then up through the pulmonary valve where it heads for the lungs. The lungs re-oxgenate the cells, and blood comes back through to the heart, through the left atrium and ventricle. The blood that is now oxygenated is pushed out the aorta, and goes through the entire body to perfuse organs with new oxygenated blood, through the arteries and down to the capillaries and small structures and cells.
Hope this helps!
