Industrial union, worker's organization made out of the considerable number of specialists in a given industry, paying little heed to aptitude, specialty, or occupation (instead of the art association, in which all individuals are of one ability, for example, craftsmen or electricians). The industrial union is in some cases alluded to as a vertical union, since it acknowledges specialists from the minimum to the most gifted as individuals.
