the tropical rainforest is the biome that tends to get the most rainfall.

A biome is a naturally occurring community of plants and animals in a habitat. It is classified into aquatic biome, forest biome, desert biome, tundra biome and the grassland biome. Forest biomes are further classified into the coniferous forests, deciduous forest, Mediterranean forest and the tropical rain forests. The biome that receives the maximum rainfall is the tropical rainforest biome.

Tropical rain forests are characterized by the very high annual rainfall with a brief season of less rain, high average temperatures, species richness and nutrient-poor soil. There is no dry season and all the months have an average precipitation of 60mm.
