Gucci Mane may be the latest star to have his Twitter account hacked. On Saturday a post appeared on the rapper’s Twitter saying that Waka Flocka Flame had been “officially dropped” from Gucci’s Brick Squad 1017 record label. The profanity-laced post also called Waka Flocka “disloyal.” After media outlets ran with the story that a new Twitter beef had sprung up, Rahim “The Dream,” an employee at Atlantic Records, took to Twitter to let fans know that there was no rift between Waka and Gucci. Instead, Rahim claims that Gucci’s manager told him that his Twitter account had been hacked and that there was never any beef between the two.
Meanwhile, Gucci has not deleted the tweets posted by the supposed hacker, leading some to believe that he really did drop Waka. Waka Flocka himself is among those who don’t quite believe Rahim’s claim that Gucci’s account was hacked. On Twitter Waka re-tweeted reports that Gucci’s Twitter was hacked with the hashtag “false.”
