The 56th Annual Grammy Awards is a wrap, but the night wasn’t without its share of eyebrow-raising moments. As he presented the award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, actor Jamie Foxx awkwardly apologized to Jay Z for leering at his wife, Beyoncé, during the opening performance.

Jamie said he never meant to stare at Beyoncé, adding that all the pregnant women watching were wondering how Beyoncé regained her figure after giving birth. Jamie Foxx knew he was bringing a smile to viewers’ faces, but rocker Ozzy Osbourne inadvertently brought the laughs as he stumbled over his words while introducing Ringo Starr’s performance. The stutter sent Black Sabbath guitarist Geezer Butler into a chuckling fit, but he was able to recover before his time to present. Among the other presenters Sunday were Neil Patrick Harris, Julia Roberts, Pharrell Williams, Steven Tyler, Smokey Robinson, and more.

Meantime, rapper and actor LL Cool J wrapped up his third stint as host of the annual awards show. During his opening monologue, LL pointed out the power music to cross genres and countries. He also praised music for allowing him to reach stardom and giving him an outlet to express a range of emotions.

As for how other artists are expressing themselves, LL zeroed in on country star Taylor Swift and her tendency to write songs about men she dated. LL explained that the subject matter of Taylor’s songs should be a warning to young men everywhere. The 56th Annual Grammy Awards were televised live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on CBS.
