Jay-Z New Album #1 Over Seas, Talks About Feud With Timbaland Announces European Tour



Jay-Z opens talks about his falling out with proudcer Timbaland during the making of “The Blueprint 3”. Jay-Z tells BBC Radio that when the album was leaked everything went sour between the 2. They eventually reconciled and Jay-Z said he noticed a new and improved producer. Jay-Z and Timbaland worked on a couple of tracks on THE “Magna Carta Holy Grail album that hit stores last week.

The “Magna Carta Holy Grail” is doing very well overseas. Jay-Z is number one on the U.K. Albums chart. Jay-Z’s 12th album is also expected to hit the number one spot in the United States. Industry analysts predict the album could sell up to a half-million copies in its first week in stores. Prior to the album’s physical release, Jay teamed up with Samsung Mobile to give away one-million digital copies of the album to Samsung Galaxy users that downloaded a promotional app. As a result of those downloads, the Recording Industry Association of America awarded the album a platinum certification on the day it was released.

“Magna Carta Holy Grail” features appearances by Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé.

Jay-Z is hitting the road overseas in support of his latest album “Magna Carta Holy Grail.” According to HipHop-n-more.com, the rapper’s U.K. and European tour will kick off in Manchester on October 3rd. While in Britain and Ireland, Jay will also make stops in Birmingham and Dublin, before playing a three night series at London’s O2 Arena. From there he crosses the English channel to play shows in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, Sweden and Germany. The month-long trek wraps up in Amsterdam on October 29th.

Over the weekend, Jay-Z showcased tracks from “Magna Carta Holy Grail” at the Wireless Festival in London. This week, Jay and Justin Timberlake will kick off their “Legends of Summer” tour across North America.
