Jay-Z Looks Like Wayne is “Wining”…Â The expectations for Lil Wayne’s new album continue to rise. Billboard.com says “Tha Carter Four” is now projected to sell between 850 and 900-thousand copies by week’s end on Sunday. Projections from earlier this week had the record moving between 700 and 850-thousand units. “Tha Carter Four” is sure to debut at number one on next week’s Billboard 200 chart, giving Wayne his third number one release. Should it meet expectations, Billboard.com says “Tha Carter Four” would also post the second highest sales week for a hip-hop or male artist since Weezy’s own “Tha Carter Three” sold just over one-million copies in June of 2008.
“Tha Carter Four” features Lil Wayne’s latest singles “How To Love” and “6 Foot 7 Foot.” Wayne is currently out on the road in support of the record. He will be performing at The Pavilion in Albuquerque, New Mexico tonight.
