Ray-J has been a busy man these days. He’s hosting Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club All-Star Battle and recently dropped his shade-filled single “I Hit It First.” Check out the deets from Ray-J’s recent media hustle below.
On Wednesday Ray-J stopped by BET to do an appearance on 106 and Park and even brought out the Kim Kardashian look-alike who appeared in the video for “I Hit It First,” a model who goes by the name Luba. Once again Ray-J wants us to know that in no way this song is a direct shot at his ex Kimmy Cakes:
“The song is about something I did. I try not to go so hard with the record ’cause it’s self-explanatory,” he said. “There’s other relationships that I’ve been in too, just not as popular as others that I’ve dealt with.”
Right, so putting a dead ringer for Kim makes all think that the song isn’t about her. Nice try, Ray-J!
His last stop this week was a sit-down interview with Power 105.1 to discuss—you guessed right—Kim Kardashian and to also discuss his last chat with the Breakfast Club. Back in 2011, Ray-J called up the show to give his two cents on that infamous scuffle with rapper Fabolous in Las Vegas. He basically told the world don’t eff with his Money Team crew, and Fab could get smacked if he kept talking ish. Ray, who was quite drunk at the time of the call, didn’t even remember doing it, saying he blacked out:
“That was like a ‘Hangover’ movie. It was a real bad night. It was a mixture of bad stuff. It was alcohol Everything else, I blacked out. If id dint’ call the radio station, i wouldn’t remember it happened. All my friends was laughin’.”
The crew asked if Ray-J was going to buy Kimye a baby shower gift:
“Listen, that’s not my place to even converse about that. You know what I’m sayin’?”
After all that, he’s still a gentleman. Kinda.
