Chris Brown’s attorneys have gotten rid of his traffic violations that include driving without a valid license and failing to prove insurance. Chris still has a hit-and-run charge that’s a misdemeanor. Attorney Mark Geragos says he also hopes to have the hit-and-run charge resolved before the singer’s next court hearing on August 15th. The charges stem from a crash in May, in which Brown allegedly rear-ended a Mercedes with his Range Rover near Toluca Lake. Chris Brown denies any wrong doing. Chris Brown also claimed he exchanged information with the driver of the other car at the time of the accident.
A judge revoked the singer’s probation last week as a result of the new charges. A separate hearing to determine if Brown actually violated his probation is scheduled for August 16th. Brown was sentenced to five years probation in 2009 after pleading guilty to attacking pop star and former girlfriend Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party.
We think Chris Brown’s super attorneys will get him out of this tricky traffic jam fix.
