Ciara has settled on a release date for her upcoming album. The singer appeared in a Ustream video Tuesday night to announce that her next effort, “Basic Instinct,” will be arriving on December 14th. “Basic Instinct” will feature the singles “Speechless,” “Gimmie Date,” and the Ludacris collaboration “Ride.” Ciara recently discussed her upcoming album with Rap-Up.com saying, quote, “Now it’s time to go back, it’s time to throw on my sneakers, it’s time to just really get bossy for a couple of seconds.” “Basic Instinct” will be Ciara’s follow-up to 2009’s “Fantasy Ride,” which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200.
