Drake is using his upcoming tour to help and up-and-coming rapper get their big break. MTV News says Drizzy has teamed with OurStage and the Real Hip Hop Network to give one lucky emcee the chance to be the opening act on his “Club Paradise” tour. Interested artists can submit one of their original songs now until April 30th at OurStage. Fan voting will then begin on April 30th and run through May 2nd. The winning act will be selected from the 100 rappers with the most amount of votes. Along with being Drake’s opening act, the winning artist will also get to hit the road in their own branded tour bus.
Drake’s “Club Paradise” tour gets under way on May 7th in Concord, California. J. Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, French Montana and 2 Chainz will also be a part of the trek.
