Drake Says His Third Album Will Reflect New Mood : Drake Is A Emotional Drunk Texter

Drake says his next studio album will feature a different vibe than his sophomore release “Take Care.” The rap star explains to Billboard that he’s in a “very different place” right now, adding that he’s “very proud” of his current mindset. Drizzy says fans can look forward to a record that will be “conceptually one of the most exciting projects” he’s worked on. Drake says a big reason for the change in mood on his next record is his recent move from Toronto to Los Angeles. He notes that while he still has a place in his home city, he’s been inspired by all the change he’s encountered after moving to California.

In other news Drake doesn’t have a problem drunk-calling his ex-girlfriends and giving them a piece of his mind. However, the 25-year-old rap superstar admits that he’s more of a drunk texter than a drunk dialer.

“I write Peach Ciroc [vodka] poems. When that Peach Ciroc comes into my head and starts hitting the blood stream, the words start flowing to exes. Some nights I’ll be in the club and start thinking back — it gets emotional.”

Drizzy also revealed that he was rejected by a girl he once loved because she couldn’t handle his fame. “I fell for somebody I liked so much,” he says. ”She was like, ‘I won’t be in a relationship with you, you’re a rapper and I think more of myself than to go through the (expletive); I can’t read the rumors every day whether they’re true or not.’

“That killed me. Damn, it was a loss, a fight I can’t even fight because she’s already bowing out,” he continues.

Judging by Drake’s latest romantic conquests that included Rihanna, Dollicia Bryan and his ex-girlfriend, we think the rapper-crooner will be just fine. Don’t worry Drake, you’ll find someone who can handle your celebrity status. Spotted @ PopCrush

Fans will get the chance to see Drake perform in person starting next month when he kicks off his “Club Paradise” tour. The trek will also include J. Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, French Montana and 2 Chainz. Drake’s “Club Paradise” tour begins May 7th in Concord, California.
