According to TMZ Kim Kardashian is going to dish out some serious dough so she can keep her MASSIVE engagement ring … and TMZ has learned, the cash is all going to Kris Humphries.
Sources close to the former couple told TMZ… it was Kris who originally bought the 20.5carat diamond stunner … and  that Kim loved the ring so much, she included a clause in the pre-nup which allows her buy the ring from Kris for the original purchase price in the case of a divorce.
Ironically, without a special clause in the prenup, Kim would have been the proud owner outright, because once they became man and wife, the ring would have been Kim’s.
Since the couple is now done, the diamond is in Kim’s court. We’re told Kim K still LOVES the ring and will pay Kris so she can keep it.
As far as price goes Kim never disclosed how much Kris plunked down, but according to multiple reports, it’s valued around $2 mil.
This actually sounds like Tom Foolery to me, I mean they were married meaning it was Kims right? Maybe Kim feels bad for the way she publically humiliated Kris and wants to “pay him off”. I bet you it was her mom’s idea!

They weren’t married long enough for her to be able to keep the ring without paying him for it! Let’s be real, she didn’t want to be married, she just wanted a HUGE ring so yes, she needs to pay him for it POINT.BLANK.PERIOD! 🙂

Kim K is still very much in love with Reggie Bush. She was on TV parading her dating life then quickly marriage to Kiris H. But her heart belong to Reggie, she thought all her bad acting would get his attention. I don’t think Kris H. knew it would end so quickly He should be compensated for his very expensive ring. When you accept an engagement ring, it is a “promise to marry”. You can’t accept it, marry the person, and then you want to divorce in 72 days and still want to keep it!!!! Hello, give the man his ring or money and keep it moving!!!
