The  rappers New Boyz are facing legal troubles over their name. According to AllHipHop, Christian rockers the Newsboys filed a federal lawsuit against the hip-hop duo last week. Just so yall know in case you are wondering who are they they are the group that got in to the fight with R&B group Hamilton Park. The group and their manager, Wesley Campbell, argue that fans are confusing the two acts, which undermines the money and years of hard work they’ve put into promoting the Newsboys. Although frontman Michael Tait incorporates elements of hip-hop in his music, the band says their style and the New Boyz’ style are very different. The Newsboys explain that the New Boyz music is “sexually charged” with “sexually explicit” lyrics. Their lawsuit was filed last Friday, July 6th, in District Court of Middle Tennessee, Nashville division.
