‘Dear White People’ is no longer a joke for social media but a full fledge movie about race relations between black and white people.

‘Dear White People’ did so well at the Sundance Movie Festival that six short months after first premiering it’s engaging race relations. The movie takes place at fictional Winchester College.
The movie seems very reminincient of the good old days of ‘The Cosby Show’ and ‘A Different World’ when we all wanted to attend Hillman College. A black DJ gives advice to the white students such as,
“Dear white people. The minimum number of black friends to not seem racist has been raised to two. Sorry, but your weed man Tyrone doesn’t count.”
“Dear white people: please stop touching my hair. Does this look like a petting zoo to you?”
The films stars ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ star Tyler James Williams, Tessa Thompson, Teyonah Parris, Brandon P. Bell, Kyle Gallner, Brittany Curran and Mr. Allstate himself Dennis Haysbert.
