New Rule Makes It Easier To Put Name On No-Fly List

Airport

All it takes now is one phone call to put someone on the government’s no-fly list. “The Washington Post” reports federal counter-terrorism officials have altered criteria for their terror watch list to make it easier to thwart a potential attack. The old rule called for two credible tips before someone was added to the counter-terrorism database. Civil rights advocates say the one-tip rule makes it too easy to snare the innocent. Officials insist the tip must be credible.
