The Jasmine Brand The hip-hop diva deleted her Twitter account over the weekend. Nicki didn’t give a reason as to why she’s no longer a part of the social networking site. Rap-Up, however, points out that there had been a large amount of negativity on her timeline recently. Nicki was also unhappy about a fansite recently posting portions of her latest album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.” Before deleting her Twitter page, Nicki sent out a tweet on Sunday saying that there is only “so much a person can take.”

Shortly after her account was gone, the topic #NickiComeBack began trending.

Nicki Minaj, who had about eleven-million followers, isn’t the first artist to leave Twitter. Chris Brown, Kid Cudi, and Cassie have all deleted their accounts only to eventually return.

Apparently Nicki Minaj’s father doesn’t think the rap diva’s childhood was a tough as she’s making it out to be. Sources tell TMZ that Nicki’s dad, Omar, is upset that his daughter spoke so poorly of him during her recent “Nightline” interview. Nicki claimed that Omar was an alcoholic and drug addict who threatened on several occasions to kill her and her mother.
