Singer Russell Neal from the 90’s group Hi-Five is in custody after police found his wife dead. WOW, I can’t believe anybody associated with such hits as the ‘She’s Playing Hard’ to Get’ and ‘Kissing Game’ could be guilty of murder!
Check out the details below.
Hi-Five singer Russell Neal is in some serious trouble; the 90’s singer is in police custody … after he confessed to the police that his wife is dead in the couple’s apartment and that he needs a lawyer.
Russell Neal apparently told Houston cops he and his wife had gotten into an argument Wednesday and then he stopped talking and told the police he needs a lawyer.
Hi-Five’s music is the music of our lives. “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)” went to number one in 1991 and then a year later they won big time with, “She’s Playing Hard to Get.”
The group’s lead singer Tony Thompson famously died in 2007 after inhaling Freon.
Russell Neal is currently being detained; no charges have been filed.
The lawyer for Hi-Five, Chris Brown had the following to say,
“We are aware of the situation and are presently evaluating it.”
This story is definitely developing.
