Michael Jackson’s concert rehearsal documentary “This Is It” is in awards contention. The film is among the nominees unveiled for Best Documentary Feature for the 15th Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards. It will take on the films “Anvil,” “Capitalism: A Love Story,” “The Cove,” and “Food Inc.” “This Is It” focuses on the “King of Pop’s” rehearsals for his 50-show run at London’s O2 Arena that was slated to start in July. The concert series was never to be, as the singer unexpectedly died of cardiac arrest on June 25th. “This Is It” hit theaters for a limited two-week run on October 28th, but due to its incredible popularity, the film was extended through the Thanksgiving weekend. To date, “This Is It” has grossed more than 250-million-dollars worldwide.
Lee Daniels’ critically-acclaimed film “Precious” also picked up a few Critics Choice nominations on Monday. “Precious” will look to take home the Best Picture award, while the film’s leading lady, Gabourey Sidibe, is up for Best Actress. Mo’Nique is up for Best Supporting Actress, while Lee Daniels is nominated for Best Directing. “Precious” is also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay.
The Homies over at Exclusive AccessPosted this video of K-Ci on stage in Atlanta acting like a crack head-the sad part is that I have been told that he really is on drugs and his family have been trying their very best to help him… I was told by a member of his family that they love him so much and want him to be Clean but he always acts like everything is ok and that he says he just likes to drink… I really hope he sees the big picture, an get the point what could happen, like with MJ and gets help…

The homies over at Concreteloop.com posted these pictures of Nelley giving back to to the community in a big way… This is what they said:
Nelly poses with a patient at the Aflac Children’s Cancer Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston Hospital on Friday in Atlanta. Teaming up with Macy’s, he brought gifts to the kids and their families who’ll unfortunately be spending their holidays in the hospital.
Police say a man broke into rapper Nelly’s house in suburban St. Louis and stole electronics and video games. Authorities say the Grammy-winning artist was not home during the robbery early Friday morning.
St. Louis County police spokesman Rick Eckhard says a man used a window to get in and out of Nelly’s home. He said three people were inside the house at the time and one confronted the intruder. Eckhard says the man was able to get away with a duffel bag of electronics, a video game system and video games.
My homie G-Roc from TheShoeGame.com and his staff hosted their 3 Year Anniversary event at the Nike Store Lenox Square Mall. The event was crazy and packed with sneakerheads from Atlanta. People also came to support TheShoeGame.com from New York, Alabama, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Tennessee, and South Carolina. TSG definitely did it B-I-G, and you would think throwing an event at the Nike Store was enough, but NO, they gave away so much stuff. They gave away 2 pairs of Space Jam Air Jordans, 3 pairs of Gucci SB Dunks, 2 NikeiD sessions, LeBron 7’s, and a bunch of t-shirts.
DJ Greg Street was the official DJ for the night and Air Force 1 guru, Mayor was the special guest. Rosco Dash performed his hit “All The Way Turnt Up”, and up and coming ATL trap rapper, Pill also hit up the event to show love. All in all, it’s no doubt that TheShoeGame.com has a massive following. The event will most likely go down in sneaker history for them being able to get the Nike Store to throw their party, and with all the giveaways.
Atlanta’s own Bobby V came out to give back in an old school way. He and his foundation members came together to let the old folk of Atlanta know that they were loved… While there he  gave out over 100 Butter Balls and bags of food that he bought for the center… I know he’s going to be blessed cause I really dont know very many Celebrities that are spending their own money to buy things for others … So shout out to Bobby V and  TheBobbyValentinoFoundation.com
