Music producer Scott Storch, who is said to be recovering from a drug addiction, was arrested in Las Vegas earlier this month for possession of cocaine. According to TMZ, police say the arrest took place on Feb. 4 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The whole thing started when a hotel employee called police to complain that Storch wouldn’t pay for his hotel room.

The arresting officer says Storch tried to stash a bag of cocaine in a nearby trash can before cops arrived. Authorities managed to fish it out after being tipped off by hotel security; they reportedly found around 2.7 grams of the drug in the bag. Storch was taken into custody and eventually released on a $5,000 bond. According to TMZ, he blew around $30 million of his fortune after getting “hooked on drugs” back in 2006. He eventually checked into rehabilitation and has been working on his recovery ever since.
