Azealia Banks has never been one to hold her tongue. This time has been no different. Banks caught wind of Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2013 collection featuring images of what one could mistake as “Mammy” and expressed her distaste on Twitter.
Azealia Banks is making a change to her upcoming mixtape, “Fantasea.” The hip-hop newcomer took to Twitter on Monday to tell fans the release date has been pushed back from July 4th to July 11th. She joked that she’s become the “queen of delays,” but points out that at least she’s always working. And despite the setback, “Fantasea” has already spawned the singles “Jumanji” and “Aquababe.” The free set will follow Banks’ debut EP “1991,” which came out back in May. The 21-year-old recently set the stage ablaze with her electrifying performance at this weekend’s Hackney Weekend, performing a selection of tracks from her latest EP 1991.
