This evening, Mary J. Blige’s rep released a statement on Mary’s divorce filing saying, “Ms. Blige is saddened to say it is true that she has filed for divorce, saying sometimes things don’t work how we hoped they would… but there is a divine plan and a reason for everything … Mary will continue writing and working on her album, which is due out later this year, along with her world tour. She thanks and appreciates her fans for their support and love through this very difficult emotional time.”

According to docs filed in L.A. Superior Court this week, “Survivor’s Remorse” star Mike Epps filed for divorce from his wife Mechelle, just six months before their 10 year wedding anniversary.
The couple has two children together and Mike is asking for joint custody. The Bessie star reportedly revealed he’s worth $6 million, and we’re sure that number is going to skyrocket after his multitude of projects make their debut. Mike is set to play Richard Pryor in the upcoming biopic about his life, he’ll be staring in the lead role in ABC’s upcoming “Uncle Buck” sitcom his new movie Meet The Blacks hits theaters April 1st.
It’s all unfortunate.
Soon, though, Michael will be able to slide into as many DM’s as he pleases…
