If you were in Atlanta last week and you weren’t at the W Hotel in Buckhead then (please don’t slit your wrist) when you hear about the fabulous time that you missed. Ok, where do I start? I knew I was under dressed as I walked down this red (light special) lit hallway to the Ballroom. Once I made it to the red carpet I noticed a Classic Brown Mahogany wood Step and Repeat w/white grey goose geese on it (Very Classy). Next I went into the Media/”Private Room”. Wow, there was a bookcase that looked like a wall that had a secret door. Only difference was the password was “press”. There was R & B Diva Monica looking like a breath of fresh air in her white suit. Then I should have known her Knight in Shining Armor Shannon Brown(but he was actually white too) was not too far from her side.

I am not going to even comment on my girl “Toya Wright’s” get up (Green Jeans, Red Bottoms) and a Pony Tail that made her look younger than Regginae. She’s HOT! No offense MeMpHiTz but I had to say it!

Pretty Girls Rock 2012 : Brings Out – D.Woods, Jazzy Phe, Tiffany Evans and Many More

Last night was the 2nd Annual Pretty Girls Rock: Art, Music, Fashion put on and hosted by Musiq Soulchild’s DJ Traci Steele of Hot 107.9.  The event was held at P.Diddy’s restaurant Justin’s in Atlanta.

PGR had and attendance of over 500 people and the other host for the evening included Atlanta’s own Pretty Girls; Traci Steele, Ebony Steele, Maria More, Rashan Ali and Nina Brown. The event benefited The Love Offering Foundation and is all about woman in the field of artistry…there were mini fashion shows, canvas painters and female performers.

DJ Traci Steele also had some of her female DJ counterparts doing a set to keep the crowd entertained which included…DJ E, DJ Speakerfoxx, DJ Cooley and DJ Jazzy T. Performances included Lynn Tate, Mika Means, D Woods and LaTocha Scott from Xscape.

D. Woods put on a stellar performance and let the entertainment world know that she is still has it. She performed her brand new hit track titled ’2 The Bottom’, which has more of a club / electronic feel mixes hip-hop and pop music. The track was produced by well-known producer DClax and was released through her indie label Woodgrane Entertainment.

R & B singer Mika Means ripped the stage and she performed her new hit single. Mika has performed on the Monique show, all across the country and is working on a new mixtape and album. Read More »

ATL Live On Park Tavern Featuring Sean Garrett, Tony Terry & Asia Bryant

Last night Atlanta celebrated yet another successful showcase of ATL Live on Park Tavern. Hosted by the always hilarious and entertaining LifeStyle Specialist Kenny Burns, and put up by legendary music executives Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols. As usual the place was packed wall to wall with beautiful people ready to laugh, drink and enjoy great music full of soul and essence. Last night’s roster included new and up and coming artist Asia Bryant, Legendary Tony Terry and Mega Superstar All Time Hit Making Sean Garrett.

Asia Bryant is a young song tress with an amazing and powerful voice, she definitely is going to go have longevity in this business, it was very refreshing to hear an artist who can actually utilized their talent without any “musical enhancements”. Legendary Tony Terry was also in the house to give us a playback of all of his hit that some of us were probably conceived off of (LOL). The ladies were going wild for him as usual, his voice just has a way of taking you a place in your mind that eases all troubles and worries.

The main event was very special, coined by Jay Z “The Pen” Sean Garrett hit the stage and immediately got the crowd to their feet as he did a fraction of the rundown of all his hits he made for mega star celebrities such as the likes of Beyonce and Usher. N.E.R.D. Brings Down House In ATL: Mansion Elan For Coors Light

ALL THE GIRLS STANDING IN THE LINE BY THE BATHROOM! The song was still ringing in my head as I rode down 85. The N.E.R.D concert which was held at the Mansion Elan brought out a big crowd. From Celebrities and fellow artist Jermaine Dupri, DaBrat, D. Woods, Rasheeda, Bryan Michael-Cox and many others as well as fans.

The event hosted by Coors Light and V103, had the marketing on overload, between the Ice Sculptures, Lemonade Beer, and Ice Statue Ipad listening dock. This concert was like no other, Pharrell and the rest of the N.E.R.D members put in 150% with tonights performance.

Let me say this at the concert I had the opportunity to speak to the Brat for the first time and she’s one of the coolest Celebs I have met yet… She told me that she is about to drop a mixture but I will be telling yall more about that soon ..
