Atlanta, GA. 5 October 2018 – Last night (10/4), Iconic rap artist Tip “T.I.” Harris hosted the exclusive Atlanta listening party for his tenth studio album, Dime Trap. Held at the acclaimed pop-up TrapMusic Museum, the event hosted hundreds of celebrities, influencers and longtime supporters who joined Tip for a first listen of the new album before it was released at midnight. As guests entered, they were greeted by the all black orchestra, Orchestra Noir, who performed new music from the album, including ‘Jefe’ ft. Meek Mill, Wraith ft. Yo Gotti and Weekend ft. Young Thug.
The big homies Don Cannon, DJ Drama, and DJ Sense is back at it again. The dynamic trio who changed the landscape of hip hop and djing in the 90’s is back as The Academy. I had the opportuntiy to hang out with them at their press conference as they answered questions and shared their vision about transforming HIP HOP. Attention DJs you definitely want to check out The Academy. Check out information and my pictures of the exclusive press conference below. READ MORE
T.I. is not short on material for his upcoming album. The rapper recently told DJ Sense of Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 that he has 125 songs in the can for “Trouble Man,” the title of his eighth studio album. T.I. says he’s just sitting on the material right now. “Trouble Man” is due to be released on September 4th. That’s the day after the second season premiere of his VH1 reality series “T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle.” Do you remember 3 years ago when I attended T.I.unforgettable performance at club Crucial in Atlanta. After doing his Farewell Tour.
The club was jammed packed full of people that came to show their love. T.I. talked to the crowd to let everyone know “no matter how much people might hate on him he will always keep his head up cause he’s the King B-Tch†… And he wouldn’t say it if he didn’t mean itâ€. Next thing I know Tip was talking about how people need to forgive and let things go don’t hold on to anything, and then Shawty Lo walked out on to the stage and extended his hand to the rapper. Both men embraced and shook hands as the audience was like what the hell… LOL
