Falcons Michael Turner Charged With DUI

As reported by the AJC, hours after the Atlanta Falcons beat the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football their running back, Michael Turner, was in the Gwinnett County Jail. Turner had been charged last night with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. READ MORE

Among the top NFL picks two are certified Georgia Boys and one became certified with his draft. The #1 pick, Cam Newton, is now an official North Carolina Panther but planted his roots at West Lake high school in College Park,GA.

The Fourth pick, A.J Green ,who happens to be the #1 wide receiver in the nation, found his fame as a UGA “bulldawg” and will now be tearing up the field as a Cincinati Bengal alongside the vocal and notorious Chad Ochocinco.

Good news for all yall football fan’s the AJC is reporting that Falcons owner Arthur Blank says there will be professional football in 2011.

Blank and the Falcons were honored by the Georgia Legislature on Tuesday for their third consecutive winning season. He says he hopes to build on last season’s success, but the NFL is mired in labor strife. There is a hearing April 6 in Minnesota in the lawsuit filed by Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and six other NFL players in the ongoing lockout. The lack of negotiations has cast doubt about the upcoming NFL season. READ MORE
