My girl Lena Huggs has a lot to celebrate these days and one of the biggest moments was her HUGE bridal shower that took place in the ATL. The lovely bride to be of R&B singer RL formerly of NEXT had a wonderful bridal shower at Atlanta’s My Fair Sweets. The bride was surrounded by her closest friends: Kandi Burruss, Toya Wright, Monyetta Shaw, Chanita Foster, Gocha, Sheree Whitfield, and so many more.

My girl Tamar Braxton was in the ATL to host the 2016 Bronner Brothers Hair Battle one of the DOPEST hair battles I have ever seen. I really can’t tell you all about the hair battle because it’s slated to air on Centric October 21, 2016; but I will tell you this it is EPIC and my girl TAMAR did her thing as the HOSTTESS with the MOSTEST alongside Celebrity Stylist Dwight Eubanks!
The judges of the Bronner Brothers Hair Battle are titans in the hair care industry including my girl Shekinah Jo, Razor Chic, and Ms. Lawrence.

I got the chance to meet Oprah Winfrey at the Queen Sugar Private reception that celebrates the newest edition to the OWN’s dramatic television series produced by super director Ava DuVernay.
The private reception was held at New Orleans’ posh Legacy Kitchen. The reception was truly star-studded because the entire cast of “Queen Sugar”, some of our favorite star,s and industry’s most influential media professionals and socialites around.

I had the opportunity to support and work with the good people over at Jones and Rose during their Nola Ultimate Pop Up Shop that included a dynamic Next Level Brunch on how to win as an entrepreneur and a wonderful shopping experience for guests enjoying the sights and sounds of the 2016 Essence Music Festival. The lovely Toya Wright hosted an epic book signing party for her new novel “How to Lose a Husband” at Atlanta’s Euro Hookah Lounge in the heart of the exclusive Buckhead community. Atlanta came out to show their love and support of Toya’s latest creation and she was surrounded by fans, family, and friends.
