Is Matthew Knowles throwing shade Letoya Luckett’s way? According to our friends at bossip.com, their source says that Matthew Knowles has been paying off radio stations to NOT play her records.

Being that Letoya’s new single “Regret”(which features rapper Ludacris) is rapidly blowing up, he doesn’t want her to overshadow his babygirl Beyonce. Matthew, I mean come on man. Your daughter is one of the top superstars, she will be set for life if she decides to never work again, so why try to keep food off of the next persons plate? Just wrong, some people need to really grow up!

Every year and DTP hosts a brunch honoring BET for their accomplishment in trying to uplift the African American community in Atlanta, this years honoree was Kelly G, who is the senior director of Music Programming. Ludacris, Scrappy, Diamond, Slim Thug, Bun B and the DTP family came together for the brunch at his Atlanta restaurant Straits, a lot of people don’t know, but Kelly G is one of the key players in making BET’s success what it is today. So Big Shout Out to Kelly G for all the hard work, P.S. you know I’m open and would love to have a show, (LOL) and my DTP family for putting together good events not just parties. I have to also tell yall while I was their I had a little sip sip of Luda’s new drink Conjure Cognac and have to tell yall its pretty good so make sure yall show Luda’s drink some love.. 

 Jay-Z has yet another title to add to his trophy case which I have to say he should get the to award cause he has put in work but the rest of them and their number placement is some bull. MTV has been counting down its list of the best rappers in the hip-hop game, and on Monday they named Jay-Z number one. MTV’s crew of hip-hop writers based their countdown on an artist’s current success, not their career achievements. They also factored in criteria like rhyme skill, sales, airplay and endorsements. Jay-Z has been at the top of the rap game for the past few months, thanks to his latest album, “The Blueprint Three.” The record dropped on September 8th, and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart after selling 476-thousand copies in its first week out. “The Blueprint Three” has also spawned the hit singles “D.O.A.,” “Run This Town,” and “Empire State of Mind.”

MTV’s Shaheem Reid discussed “Hov’s” greatness writing, quote, “Jay-Z continues to add luster to his legacy with time-transcending music, multiple successful business ventures and his dominant influence over the game.” Following Jay-Z on MTV’s list is New Orleans emcee Lil Wayne. Up and coming Canadian rap star Drake was named number three, while controversial rap star Kanye West checks in at number four. Miami emcee Rick Ross rounds out the list’s top five. Where the hell is Tip, and Luda why are they not either 2 ,3, and 4, that’s some bull… Not trying to hate on drake but why the hell did they put him so high on the list, what the hell has he really done….. Looks like this list and MTV is on some bull….

Where is Tip & Luda’s Name & Why are They Not On The List 

Over the weekend Ludacris recently had “Luda weekend”, in the ATL.. As always Luda had his bowling challenge and did his thang…. My boy Lil Scrappy, Chingy, and all of DTP came out to play, here are some of the pictures…  

Ludacris is the latest rapper getting into the alcohol game. According to the Agence France-Presse, the MC announced he’s teaming up with Norwegian Cognac maker Birkedal Hartmann to create his own line called Conjure. But Luda told the crowd at France’s Vinexpo that he plans to do more than put his name on the product. He added, quote, “Whenever I involve myself in a business, I submerge myself in it.” That meant the rapper spent some time earlier this year with Hartmann’s master blender sampling 40 different brandies to find the best one for the line. Luda said the whole experience gave him, quote, “a new appreciation for Cognac.” The Conjure line is due to hit America in September, at a price point of 35-dollars per bottle. Previous hip-hop stars to get involved with alcoholic products include Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Sean “Diddy” Combs, 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes.

Last night Luckie night club was  crazy packed for one of the biggest birthday bashes the city has ever seen. I have to say that I loved the fact that people can come together to have a good time and celebrate DJ Trauma’s birthday. I got the chance to meet  Jeremih and asked him a few questions all he would say is, ” Yo tell Keri Hilson to get at me “. Other celebrities there included rapper Ludacris, British singer Estelle, Diamond ,Lil Scrappy, Jarvis, Eboni Elektra, JD, Bow Wow, Q The Kid, B Cox and many more.
