You know I didn’t know if it was me or my aging memory. I watched vh1 T-Pain behind the music and the way I recalled the way things went down back in the day. Hmmmm is it just me or was Mickey “MeMpHiTz” Wright Jr SVP of A & R at Jive Records …the same SVP that signed T-Pain to Jive Records. Well I pulled up an old you tube Video with MeMpHiTz doing an interview and check out what he had to say when giving some A&R advice as to how to approach an A & R when presenting your music. Check this out. This interview & things said were definitely not highlighted on the vH1 Behind the scenes Video. #Imjustsayin Artists??? Is it so hard to give credit & props to those instrumental in putting you on? Is this a black thing a music thing or a Universal Hateration Thang? Toya & Memphitz Promotes Ampro At 2011 Bronner Bros Hair Show + After Party Pics

Toya and Memphitz Wright showed up at the Bronner Bros. Hair Show this weekend representing Ampro. They stopped by the Ampro booth, with one of the largest crowds during the event and created a moblike atmosphere. One lady yelled, “Damn, who’s here? Lady Gaga?”

Toya recently was placed on the NY Times best seller list. Big ups!

Toya and Memphitz also made their way to the official Bronner Bros. After Party.

And please pray for Memphitz and his family, I’m sure you heard he was in jail tonight. Sometimes people forget things when they go through security. It could happen to you too, stop all the hating.

Finale of “Toya: A Family Affair” Shows Toya’s Wedding + New Photos

This evening BET aired the final episode of my girl Toya’s show Toya: A Family Affair. Fans got to watch Toya and Memphiz say “I Do” from the comfort of their home.Â The wedding resembled every bit of a fairy tale even though not all members of her family (particularly her brothers with the exception of Rudy) were able to attend.Â While not all of her family made it out we did see celebs take part in the wedding such as Tiny and Monica. Parts of the wedding that I’m sure gave all the ladies out here a chance at real love is when Memphitz was seen tearing up at the wedding when he saw Toya. Stuff like that makes us all believe that we have a shot at true love.Â The reception looked to be a super fun party too. If you watched carefully, it looked like guests were doing the new line dance Wobble.Â Viewers of the show were all over twitter showing their love and congrats to the couple.

In other news about Toya, we all saw how hard she worked on the opening of her store during her show. Well now we have some good news for fans! She is going to have her Garb Boutique on the internet very soon!!! This will be great because I know that there are a ton of fans out there who want to shop at her store but are unable to make it down to New Orleans. Toya is also working on another big project but I won’t be able to release the details about it just yet. What were your opinions on the final episode of the show? Did you like the wedding?

Antonia Carter & Memphitz Wedding Today In ATL

Toya Carter is spending her last days of single of the “Single Ladies” club is frantically getting ready for her wedding. With her wedding just days away, the reality TV star has been running around putting the finishing touches on her ceremony. When we caught up with her, she was in the middle of her big-day beauty routine (waxing, facial, massage, etc.). While she’s whipping herself into wedding-ready shape, what about her gown? “I had to get it taken in a little bit. At first I took in too much,” Toya told S2S. While that might usually spell disaster in most cases, she had nothing to worry about because she hasn’t allowed her seamstress to cut the dress.

Dress shopping for her mother didn’t go quite as smoothly. “Mom is super excited. Dress shopping, she was crying and everything,” Toya said, before adding that things went left when she and her mom couldn’t agree on what type of attire was appropriate for a mother-of-the-bride. “She wanted to pick out the sexy dresses. ‘No, you can’t be looking sexy like that.’” After all the pre-wedding stress, Toya will need to unwind, so the bride-to-be is planning to celebrate her last days of freedom with a bachelorette party on Thursday.

The happy couple has invited 200 people to the wedding, set for June 18 at 6 p.m. in Atlanta. Toya, however, is still waiting on some RSVPsâ€”one in particular from her ex-husband Lil Wayne.

Antonia ” Toya” Carter, Family Affair Show Premier Party At Straits

Tonight I got the chance to sit down with my homie Antonia ” Toya” Carter, for the premier of her new show â€œToya’s Family Affair,â€ which will focus on Toyaâ€™s trials and tribulations with family issues. Toya was the top highest trending topic on twitter last night. The show was very emotional because her mom was starting her life over and entered rehab after being on drugs for over 24 years. The show also focus on Toya’s siblings and how they have to work on being a closer family. Watching the show allowed me to see another side of Toya and some of Â her struggles in life. The two loves of her life Reginae Carter and fiance Memphitz were also in the building.

Toya’s New Show “Toya’s Big Family Affair,” But Is She Engaged?

Antonia ” Toya” Carter,Â has been working very hard lately preparing for her new show ‘Toya’s Big Family Affair” (August 27). From being an entrepreneur to a stylist, rapper, and mother… is she now adding wife to her list of accolades? Rumor has it that my homie Toya and the love of her life Memphiz Hitz have gotten engaged. Although I do not know and cannot confirm or deny this, I can say that two look wonderfully happy together. I was told Toya is currently filming her new BET reality show Toya’s Big Family Affair. The show is slated to air early January or February 2011. Toya is also preparing for the opening of her boutique in her hometown, New Orleans. Part of the profits will go to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Hate it or love it you gotta respect this woman’s hustle! So make sure yall are in New Orleans on October 24th for the grand opening of her new shop. Shoutout to the Homie Memphiz Hitz and the show the Deal. I should have a couple of cameos this season I hope. Here are all the pix!
